Yeast infection monistat question?

so i bought the one day monistat and followed the directions, before be at like 11 oclock, i went to sleep, then woke up in the middle of the nighthaving to pee, so i did so and it looks like some is leaking out? did i do it wrong? or is that supposed to happen? will it not work now?
