I missed my period last mont bc i was sick and now its 1/2 a month later and im cramping but not bleeding?

I'm a virgin and I missed my period because I had a stomach virus which messed with my period timing..so I didn't get my period at all last month and now it's 17 days into the month and I have cramping but no bleeding...what's wrong?
