Do i give my bf ANOTHER chance?

ok well been going out for around 5 months nows we have had our ups and downs and hes let me down on a few occasions so this weekend he said he would make it up to me........he booked a hotel for us a meal and got my fav dvd for us to watch......so yeah this was for yesterday we had planned to go to the hotel around 2pm and shop first spend the weekend together. on the friday night after work he went out with friends for a drink, this was fine as i was out too with friends, he text me saying he wasnt going to get drunk and was going home to pack his suitcase shortly........this was 9pm on friday night........the last i heard from him all night, i text a few times and no reply........i woke up to a text at 12.45 on saturday afternoon saying call me......i called him numerous times no reply........3 oclock, 4oclock, was getting worried by this point, 5.30pm i get a phonecall from him finally, never said much said sorry i slept in was really tired last night and never got in till 12noon.......by this point i was so angry with him and thought something was wrong and the whole time he had been sleeping i broke up with him on the phone and didnt answer his texts. Last night i wanted an explanation as too what happened he said he wasnt drunk, he had two drinks and his blood sugars were high he went home to his friends and was sick all night and also happened to have no battery in his phone......(there are other ways to contact me surely?).......seems to be hes always letting me down i was really excited for the weekend should i forgive him?
