Questions about dental bonding?

Hello, earlier this morning I had a dental bonding procedure done to fill in a tooth I chipped. Everything went well and it looks good, but I'm having one problem. Every time I chew on the right side of my mouth, it feels like it's pulling apart. Is that normal? And will it settle in? I got the right one filled. Also, how strong is it? Thanks
