Should I wait for him or move on?

soo I have a bf. We've been together for 1year n a mont already. He left like 5 months ago to florida I live in california. He left cause he had serious problems with his mom. At first I wasn't happy about him movin away but then we talked nd he said he was gonna go to college there ,work nd save up money so we can live together. He came this xmast we spent almost everyday together nd now he's gone again. Nd he's comin until summer. Nd were thinkin about me goin there to visit.. Ilovee him a lot :((((
